COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Part of Tejon Street is blocked off in downtown Colorado Springs for "traffic control" in front of the El Paso County Judicial Building, according to law enforcement.
According to officials, the police presence is for traffic control for a courthouse event.
The event was a case-specific visit for a jury to see the scene, according to an El Paso County court executive. They were clearing the scene as of 3:45 p.m. KRDO13 is working to confirm which case it was related to.
A KRDO13 crew is on the scene and has noted snipers on the roof as well as a heavy police presence.
This is a developing story.
